Service and Parts
After Sales support is provided for the range of SDMO products supplied, this includes for the supply of SDMO Genuine Parts throughout Scotland, these parts have been developed to fit and complement the other component parts of your generator set.
Our Service Department, consisting of SDMO trained generator engineers, is responsible for all post-sales areas of our business, throughout the Borders, Central belt and Highlands of Scotland.
In line with our whole life cycle approach to the support and repair of your generating sets, we offer bespoke maintenance contracts to assist you in the management and maintenance of your power generation product.
Maintenance Agreements
HazHire Limited Service Department can provide a "Generator Maintenance Package" tailored to suit every customer requirement, including planned and reactive maintenance packages for both stand-by and prime power generators.
With an agreement in place, our Service Department will create a schedule for proposed maintenance visits, ensuring visits are planned and carried out at regular intervals, and at times which minimise disruption to continuity of business.
A planned maintenance package can comprise a single visit or multiple visits per year, offering any of the following:
- Intermediate service
- Major service
- Oil sample analysis
- Technical support
- Load bank testing
Load Testing
Typically emergency standby sets are not always tested as regularly as they should be, at critical times when the set is required to operate, if it has not been regularly tested then the failures can occur.
To minimise the risk of failure load testing can be provided on a regular basis.
By undertaking regular function and load testing, you can ensure that your system will operate effectively when required.
Remedial Repair Works
When the requirement for remedial repair works is identified during a planned maintenance visit:
- Our qualified mechanical and electrical engineers will advise us of necessary and recommended remedial works
- A detailed report of defects and remedial works required will be submitted to the customer, prior to work being carried out.
